AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Hey, y’all! My name is MacKenzie Taylor, and I am the existing President of the Chi Phi chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of South Carolina Aiken. I have been in this organization since the Fall of 2020 and have loved it continuously. Ever since I was a little girl, I wondered what it would be like to be a part of something bigger than myself. When going off to college, I found just that in such a fantastic group of women. I found that and then some with the strongest and most resilient women I have come to know. After being in this chapter for a year and a half, I am proud to say that I have met some of my very best friends, gained a tremendous amount of leadership skills, and realized I am never alone in anything I do. For 122 incredible years, Alpha Omicron Pi has pushed our members to exceed any expectation set and inspire ambition in all things done. Greek life at USCA is unlike anything I have ever seen before. For anyone unsure if they want to join Greek life, I say do it because you may find your forever home. “Of all of the blessings we count over and over, it seems none is greater than the consciousness of belonging to a family of thousands of sisters.” -Stella George Stern Perry. ALAM!
