Letter from the President

Hey y’all! My name is Cassie Carvin and I am the current President of the Chi Phi chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of South Carolina Aiken. I have been in this organization since Spring 2018 and I have loved it continuously. Ever since I was a little girl, I wondered what it would like to be able to be a part of something bigger than myself. When going off to college I found just that in such an amazing group of women. I found that and then some with the strongest and most resilient women I know. After being in this chapter for a year and a half I am proud to say that I have met some of my very best friends, gained a tremendous amount of leadership skills, and realized I am never alone in anything I do. For 122 amazing years, Alpha Omicron Pi has pushed our members to exceed any expectation set and inspire ambition in all things done. Greek life at USCA is unlike anything I have ever seen before. For anyone who is unsure if they want to join Greek life, I say do it because you may just find your home. “Of all of the blessings we count over and over, it seems to me none is greater than the consciousness of belonging to a family of thousands of sisters.” -Stella George Stern Perry. ALAM!
