ABOUT OUR PHILANTHROPY

Arthritis

Alpha Omicron Pi’s international philanthropy is arthritis, and our philanthropy partner is the Arthritis Foundation. Since 1967, members and chapters have raised millions of dollars to fund research, provide resources, and support those affected by arthritis, a disease that disproportionately impacts women and also affects children.

AOII’s philanthropy dollars support several impactful Arthritis Foundation initiatives, including the Juvenile Arthritis Power Pack program, Juvenile Arthritis Camps, the Juvenile Arthritis Family Summit, and the 24/7 Helpline. Our Canadian sisters proudly support The Arthritis Society of Canada, furthering our shared mission to fight arthritis and improve lives.

OUR Local Efforts

We’re proud to continue this legacy of service at Chi Phi! Here’s how we’re making an impact in our community: Our chapter is passionate about supporting arthritis research and raising awareness through our philanthropic efforts. Throughout the year, we’ve hosted events like Strike Out Arthritis! and AOII Goes Blue to bring our sisters and community together while supporting a cause that means so much to us. These events are some of our favorite ways to give back, spread awareness, and make an impact together.
